George Mason head coach Tony Skinn has signed a 2-year contract extension through the 2031-32 season, source told @thefieldof68.
Itβs the first six-year deal for a George Mason coach in program history.
Skinn led the Patriots to a share of their first A-10 regular season title in 2025 and has won 70 games in his first 3 years at the helm.

Good size and physical presence in the paint, especially as an offensive rebounder. Plays hard and brings consistent effort throughout.
Knows how to establish deep post position and work angles. Shows touch with a solid pump fake, power dribble, and patience when operating inside. Draws fouls at a strong rate.
Strong shot-contester around the rim who competes with force defensively.
Still room to grow in terms of awareness and polish in the post game. However, the size and athletic upside could develop into a real force in the A-10. Love the decision to return to George Mason for year two.
