Here's a brief update on @Bound_Exchange development before heading into the weekend.
Upcoming releases
- xStocks integration - starting with a handful of stocks, will continue to layer in more
- Wallet-authentication method - sign in with email wallet signature
- Custom Ordinal Indexer - our app is quite unique in the speed of settlement, and to deliver the best possible experience we have been developing a custom indexer for better stability
- Referral Program - We're currently testing a referral program that awards 10% of Bound's revenue to the user that referred the fee payer
- Improved Transaction Tracking - For cross-chain swaps, we'll have more granular tracking of swap progress so users don't panic when funds are in transit
We're excited to bring all these features to market, and have more in the pipeline.

Being at the Cypherpunk Summit @web3privacy reminded me why crypto's foundations matter: privacy and decentralisation.
The consensus across the talks was that total decentralization and privacy isn't a realistic end goal, but that everyone building has a responsibility to keep pushing their protocols and infra in that direction, and to be more open to privacy. Privacy isn't optional, it's normal.
It got me thinking about how @goSODAX works every day to decentralize our infra and remove potential central points of attack. We're also building toward privacy-enabled infra, something I'm excited to see play out.

two-click APIs on the way.
(because it's never really one click)
Can't help but love this.
For anyone who doesn't click through there's a line in here about the "two-click swap API" landing as part of the developer API launch. That line has a whole story behind it.
At some point I got it into my head that we needed a one-click API. Everyone in DeFi has a one-click API. I was sitting there asking the team how do we not have one of these?
So one day I went and actually tried them. Spent real time testing the "one-click APIs" everyone references. And without exception, none of them were one-click. You got the API in one click. After that there was a whole lot of work. The "one click" was just the access. The integration was still entirely on you.
So internally, we started calling ours the two-click API. Half as a joke, half because it was actually accurate. Two clicks and you're live. (with a bit of work 😅)
The name never went away. It became how we talked about it internally, and then it just quietly bled out externally too.
Somehow that turned into the actual name. I love it.
