Have you seen this update in
@goformative! 😍 Students can highlight text in passages & question stems! Just like strikethrough for answer choices, it’s by default enabled. Students just select text or question & the highlight colors will pop up for them! Great for CBT practice!

Formative for the win!

It’s an implicit bias but an important one for teachers to be aware of. When possible, shuffle order of what you are grading (so no alphabet or course section is treated differently). One reason I love @goformative is the anonymity grading feature and the Random Order options

Students with last names later in the alphabet receive lower grades than those in the beginning.
Teachers give higher grades when they start and lower when they are tired of grading.
Teachers that grade Z-A give higher grades to late last names.
