Texas State has hired Cal’s Cole Johnson as an offensive assistant, a source tells @CBSSports/@247Sports.
Worked at Cal the last two years and aided in the development of star QB Fernando Mendoza. Before Cal, he played and coached under Seth Littrell at North Texas.

Coach Larry Hill has won just about every award, honor and recognition for a Texas high school football coach. Just one remains: a state championship. Hill leads his team (14-2) into the finals for the fifth time at 11 a.m. Saturday at AT&T Stadium.

• Incarnate Word (GA ➡️ OC) ‘18-22
