it hasnt really set in for me that my cat is gone, so everytime i see a shadow that's a little too dark i instinctively think to go up to it and see if it's my cat. here is a picture of a chickadee π

yes i relate to this definitely... for me it more manifests in the way of i have one and then forget why whatever made me have one was big enough to trigger that reaction. and i am still questioning bpd not diagnosed yet...π₯Ή
