Happy Thursday! The rain has kept the butterflies away from my garden for the last few days π’ Hereβs a Cabbage White enjoying the wallflowers during one of the sunnier moments. Hopefully theyβll be back soon π€π»π¦

Happy Saturday! Itβs wet and rainy today so Iβm sharing one of the last butterfly photos from France, a Southern White Admiral. I love those dark wings π¦π«π·

IKEA has installed 935,000 solar panels and is on track for 100% renewable electricity.
This isnβt a future idea. Itβs already happening.

Saw at least twenty Painted Lady Butterflies along local Railway embankment evening walk this week (usually see two or three), reflective of Nationally increased numbers this year. Also nice to see a Male Wall Brown Pewsey NNR along favoured farm tracks @savebutterflies@s4r4h_l

Have been doing some volunteering @Natures_Voice Rye Meads in the kingfisher hub.
It has been wonderful telling people more about this lovely bird. The sweetest experience was a young girl who cried with happiness when she saw her first kingfisher.

Happy June! I enjoyed watching the fledgling House Sparrows in my garden at the weekend. There are probably three or four nests along our street, so itβs been rather noisy at times! Too cute βΊοΈπ€
