Making World Cup transit plans last minute: NJTransit rail tickets avail now from Penn. But Host Committee Shuttle Bus slots filling up: 4p next avail
Best way to get to & from MetLife tonight is public transit. Still plenty of NJT tickets available. Uber alone can’t accommodate the demand. Surge pricing and event surcharges will be in effect to encourage more drivers to come into NJ. Plan ahead and take transit if you can!

🚆 NJ TRANSIT rail service between Penn Station New York and Secaucus Junction will be limited to customers traveling to NYNJ Stadium on Saturday, June 13, from 1:25 PM to 5:14 PM. During this time, other customers traveling to New Jersey should use PATH from 33rd Street to Hoboken or Newark Penn Station, or use shuttle bus service from Port Authority, Grand Central, or Columbus Circle. 🚌 After the match, many eastbound trains that normally serve New York Penn will terminate at Newark Penn or Newark Broad Street. Riders should transfer to PATH, Newark Light Rail, or Hoboken bound trains to continue to New York. For full details and line specific schedules, visit on.nyc.gov/441asxE.

Midtown truck alert for today's FIFA World Cup match day: truck deliveries are restricted from 12 PM to 11 PM in the Midtown zone, 30th to 60th Streets, river to river (East River to Hudson). ⏰ ✅ The restriction applies to trucks only. Smaller delivery vehicles like cars, vans, and cargo bikes are exempt, along with emergency vehicles, service vehicles, essential deliveries (healthcare, shelters, utilities), and direct World Cup operations. 📦 If you operate or rely on deliveries in Midtown, plan ahead, schedule around the window, and allow extra time. Expect heavy traffic across Midtown today, and 🚇 use transit when you can. ℹ️ For travel guidance, see @NYC_DOT nyc.gov/WorldCupReady
