We hired 3 junior devs. Incredibly, they do not take notes and when they do, are useless. I decided to give them a quick wshop and I mapped the topic with the 3x3 system. Turned out that a "quick" wshop is not possible 😂 #sketchnote #notetaking #visualthinking

Here’s a quick visual to show the difference between impact and influence that Andy Crouch talks about In The Life We’re Looking For. Impact is the most force in the least time. Influence is about compounding the effects of change over time.

⚡️Thinking outside the box⚡️ I‘m used to live in a box - my home. I‘m working in a box - my office. I travel in a box - my car. My thinking is connected with a slip box - my Zettelkasten. And I love all my boxes.

Sometimes I feel the need to think outside the box. Is it possible from within a box? Questions: - What are your preferred places for thinking? - If your are outside, do you think inside the box? - If you get paid for thinking, where did you earn your money?

Writing ideas down in your own words is key. Linking ideas will create new context. Using tags for each note will give you access while searching for additional insights. Yes, it works well for me during the first month. But August was part of a very hot summer.
