If people don't care they will skip, if people care they will not. If you're story is shit and makes your people want to skip then that's a problem with your story being shit don't blame the people.

This is what makes the game precious. This event is so gold.
P.S.:
This is also what makes people love this game in the long run. Adding a skip button will eliminate all of that.

All of the people thinking this is not genuine critique is insane. If the game finally added a skip button this wouldnt be a problem. They literally did it in hsr which is arguable more info dense but they dont want you to skip the 40% of yapping that composes most quests in GI
