Enjoying following the #spinerace , which involves running the Pennine Way continuously. This gives a sense of some of the conditions at the moment. And when I say I am enjoying following it, I am enjoying following it from my sofa with a cup of tea.

Absolutely incredible feat.
A few emotional moments from the incredible @WillWalksWales on his 500 mile finish line today. 189 mountains ran in some crazily bleak conditions. But his journey has captured so many imaginations. Adventure, adversity and big dreams... achieved one step at a time. 1/2

The EU referendum question was like asking ‘what’s your favourite colour: purple or not-purple?’. Brexiters then spent 5 yrs arguing about what colour ‘not-purple’ was. So we’ve ended up with a shitty shade of indescribably putrid nothingness & no one is happy. #BrexitReality

You think you're safe at the finish. I hesitated whether to share this after my #BobGrahamRound but felt other runners should be aware of the risks. Hypothermia isn't just for winter. Full story: instagram.com/p/CTFUj1YAlOu/

Running up hills in the dark on your own is tough and lonely. Sponsor @alex_staniforth for his @MO_Mountains charity. He’s running a Bob Graham round and it is going to be a tough 24 hours. 106km / 8,200m ascent.
Leg 1 done 4:05. Slightly behind with poor visibility and slippy descent. Now the night shift begins. Message from @alex_staniforth #BobGrahamRound #solo justgiving.com/fundraising/m… @MO_Mountains #MindOverMountains ^AVFMC

I carried 2 bags full of people's litter out of the bothy I stayed in. If you visit bothies, leave them tidy. If you camp wild, leave no trace. If you go for a walk or a ride, take your litter home. Every time. Everywhere. Everyone. instagr.am/p/CSjWf-FtBy3/

My local Sainsbury’s superstore this morning, no milk delivery, just 5 boxes of rice crispies and only Pepsi Max in the drinks aisle. Frozen food also very sparse. Apparently staff have no idea what stock will turn up. #BrexitReality #emptyshelves
