Over the last two days I had the opportunity to attend the Southern Early Childhood Education Justice Network Convening hosted by the Southern Education Foundation.

More times than not, when Iām in the space, people know why Iām there. For 19 years, whether I was in the classroom delivering instruction, leading a teachers union, or making funding recommendations, education equity has always been the focus.
The future of K-12 education is strengthening the connection between education and workforce development, building career pathways, implementing career-connected learning, and developing cross sector partnerships.
