20 employees of the General Inspectorate of Border Police took part in the second monitoring session on risk identification,monitoring and fraud prevention in INTERREG projects. The sessions focused on audits, procurement risks, reporting procedures and financial corrections.

Criminal statistics in focus At the workshop in Abuja, high-ranking representatives of the Nigerian police discussed the importance of reliable crime statistics for strategic policing and security planning. The findings are now to be presented in discussions with the IGP.
