Amazing to see Sachiko Kanenobu performing songs from her 1972 classic Misora (that Chapter reissued in 2006, then Light In the Attic reissued a few years back) last night in Topanga Canyon. Was a beautiful coincidence this happened during our LA trip!

I played bass for the Cannanes on this tour, my first trip to the US. Played shows with the Softies, Calvin Johnson, Containe. Met Kevin from @whatsyrrupture but didn't realise it til 20 years later. Was a quite a wild ride.

When I was in my early 20s in the mid 90s I wrote a song about Polvo that I played once or twice with my indie rock band, with the lyrics “every where I go, all I hear is polvo, everyone I meet, has got a copy of cor crane secret”.
