Brazil contains more life than any country on Earth. 15 to 20% of every plant and animal species on the planet lives inside one country. The Brazilian government has officially mapped six biomes: Amazon, Cerrado, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Pantanal, and Pampa. The Amazon is the largest tropical rainforest on Earth and covers 49.5% of the country. The Cerrado is the world's most biodiverse savanna and grows nearly half of Brazil's crops on 23.3% of the territory. Brazil's Atlantic Forest stretches across 17 states and once covered the entire eastern coast. The Caatinga exists only inside Brazil and nowhere else on Earth. The Pantanal is the largest tropical wetland on the planet. Down south, the Pampa connects Brazil to the grasslands of Uruguay and Argentina. 103,870 animal species and 43,020 plant species have been cataloged on Brazilian soil. 700 new animal species are discovered inside Brazil every single year. The Amazon alone stores between 150 and 200 billion tons of carbon in its trees and soil. 87% of Brazil's electricity came from renewable sources in 2024. That is by far the highest of any G20 country, almost triple the global average of 32%. In December 2026 a new European law (EUDR) will block any cattle, soy, coffee, cocoa, palm oil, rubber, or wood that touched deforested land after December 31, 2020. Europe is about to pay a premium for exactly what Brazil already sells. The world is finally writing rules that price what Brazil has had for centuries. That is the carbon stack. The real asset base hiding inside a country that Wall Street still prices on policy risk.

No they don't do that There's no autoscaling Your laptop would be able to be a server and handle the increased traffic of going viral You're victim to a developer-industrial-complex that convinced you you need to pay them $$$ for auto scaling, you don't

After abut 6 years, "extracontext" is out. pypi.org/project/python-extr… % pip install python-extracontext import extracontext ctx = extracontext.ContextLocal() ctx.myvar = "say goodbye to the awkward 'contextvars'" (it is versioned as "beta1" but it is a strong release candidate)

Investing in nuclear power has hindered rather than advanced decarbonization in every single country that has ever tried it. It's so expensive it would often have been cheaper just to buy power and give it away than to build nuclear to produce it. sustainablesong.medium.com/h…

I’m very exhausted to announce attrs 24.1.0! It comes severely delayed, but I hope the many bug fixes, speed improvements, & features like __attrs_init_subclass__ or three-argument converters make the wait worth it. [1/2]
