This is getting more complicated than just an affair. This goes to those who didn’t want the FISA 702 renewed unless “serious reforms were made”.
President Trump already made those “serious reforms”. In fact, he took meticulous steps to make sure the FBI could never use it as a backdoor to casually look up American citizens ever again. The FBI was using FISA 7o2 clearances to look up citizen who weren’t even engaged with foreign adversaries, Trump closed that loophole and it now has congressional and judicial oversight in addition to many procedural mandates.
FISA Title I is a separate section of the code. That does require a warrant to look up American citizens. So there very much is a warrant section in the code.
What President Trump didn’t do was require a warrant to access Americans who were communicating with foreign adversaries under FISA 702. Expediency and national security, especially for our troops, was necessary.
But that wasn’t acceptable to a few Republicans; namely, Thomas Massie, Mike Lee and Paula Luna (and of course, all the Democrats). All 3 demanded a warrant before any communications between an American and a foreign adversary could be investigated.
Thomas Massie initiated the call for the warrant demand. Mike Lee misrepresented to the public that “no meaningful reforms to the FISA 702“ were conducted (a lie). Paula Luna then attached that demand to the Save Act and basically threatened, no FISA 702 renewal until we get the warrant demand.
This presents problems where any citizen could communicate with a foreign adversary and know that the government would have to jump through hoops to understand what’s going on.
I’m very disappointed in Massie, Luna and Lee but question the motive behind why any American should be protected once they take the initiative to communicate with people who hate the United States of America. Worse, by extension, offering constitutional protections to foreign adversaries by proxy.
Now you have a situation where it’s alleged a congressman spoke to a designated foreign adversary and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why that congressman would be demanding a warrant before anyone could know the substance of those discussions.
If you’re talking to foreign adversaries, even for diplomatic reasons, you shouldn’t have a problem with everyone knowing what you were talking about, especially if you’re in a position to serve the people.

🚨 Congressman Randy Fine @RepFine tells me he was approached by Cynthia West @Cyntaxed007 (Thomas Massie’s accuser) last year in Florida about Thomas Massie’s @RepThomasMassie alleged financial ties to Iran. 🚨
Rep. Randy Fine revealed to me that he met Thomas Massie’s ex-girlfriend, Cynthia West at a GOP event called the Florida Freedom Forum on August 2, 2025.
In an exclusive statement to @LoomerUnleashed, Fine said, “Cynthia West came up to me and told me that Massie is a total sexual creep, weirdo, and he had put her in a difficult personal situation. She told me he asked her to do things in their relationship that she felt were not appropriate. She said Massie also has direct ties to Iran. We stayed in touch.”
Additionally, Fine said Ms. West told him Massie asked her to engage in personal and sexual behaviors she felt were inappropriate, claimed emotional abuse during their relationship, and expressed concerns over the Iranian ties, which she believes are financial from what she saw and heard during the time they were dating.
Rep. Fine told @LoomerUnleashed,
“I am particularly troubled by the allegation that Thomas Massie used his power to get his then girlfriend a taxpayer funded position position in Rep. Victoria Spartz’s @RepSpartz office shortly after they began dating in late 2024, only to have her fired shortly after in what West described as retaliation after her breakup with Massie when she no longer wanted to entertain his creepy sexual demands.”
Separately, Fine noted that in May 2025, Iranian-born billionaire Joe Kiani @JoeKiani, an Iranian born donor and the founder of medical technology giant Masimo Corporation and Willow Laboratories, allegedly hosted a fundraiser for Massie that raised $100,000, during which Massie reportedly bashed Israel while the event was underway. Joe Kiani is an Iranian born Democrat mega donor. In 2021, he was appointed by Joe Biden to serve on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a move that was widely viewed as an alleged pay for play position by House Oversight Republicans.

Kiani has reportedly donated millions of dollars to Democrat causes and candidates, including $1 million to the Biden Foundation in 2017, $750,000 to the pro-Biden super PAC Unite the Country, and $1 million to the Biden Inaugural Committee. In addition to receiving an appointment to PCAST, Mr. Kiani’s company Masimo received over $3 million in federal government contracts under Biden’s regime.

I have obtained this photo of Massie and Cynthia West from the time they were dating, proving she isn’t lying about their romantic relationship, which began roughly two months after Massie’s wife of 30 years died. Cynthia tells me Massie dated at least one other woman before her, just a couple weeks after his wife mysteriously died.

Regarding your interview, you are also in error for not bringing clarity to that meeting and @RepLuna didn‘t even try to explain regarding FISA 7O2. It was glossed over as much as your alleged missing Epstein files. So your interview is not thorough. You can‘t bring up topics, label them in error and not clarify why. When you did that, you left it open to interpretation and X is far too full of that.
As to FISA 702, President Trump did make reforms and it was due to FBI access abuse - querying American citizens within a dataset they operated without proper authorization.
The fix is NOT to demand warrants for foreign malicious actors and give them constitutional protections. Now you’re just opening a bigger can of worms Americans didn’t want in the first place. Rep. Massie is also to blame for leading the public to believe FISA 702 is full of loopholes. Read the thread where you need to focus on topics you neglected to tell the public and worse - Congressional Representatives don’t tell the truth about either because they have personal, narcissistic wars with President Trump.
Also, your passion of ending forever wars has been shared where Iran is concerned for 47 years. That forever war just ended. Don‘t play armchair quarterback about the mop up phase.

Your chart shows a demand for a warrant to search for questionable foreign actors where American citizens may be a party to under 702 surveillance? For what reason? American citizens talking to foreign terrorists are scumbags, period.
Trump = procedural safeguards
Massie = constitutional-level warrant requirement
Since when do terrorist foreign actors fall under constitutional protections?
Also Massie: Explicitly ban targeting foreigners to get to Americans. What? Reality check: This is already illegal under 702.
