โš ๏ธ VOCs remain the most common acute complication in both genotypes. ๐Ÿ“ˆ Despite different patterns of disease, both HbSS and HbSC patients experience progressive organ damage driven by recurrent ischemia and long-term complications.

Bloodwork is approaching, dare I say, normal range. ๐Ÿ˜Ž The only outstanding issue is the acute AFib. ๐Ÿš‘ The pancreatitis is resolving quite well, but 16 more days of antibiotics. Again, thank you all for your prayers and support. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
A genuinely encouraging update on Yolanda: Her liver labs have made a real turnaround, and we are deeply grateful. After some very, very dark and difficult days, this is the kind of movement we had been praying and hoping to see. We know there is still a road ahead, and nothing about this journey has been easy. But today has brought a measure of relief, renewed hope, and a reminder that prayers ๐Ÿ’ฏ matter. Thank you to every one of you who has prayed, checked in, encouraged us, and stood with our family. We feel it. Please keep the prayers coming for Yolandaโ€™s continued strength, healing, and steady improvement. One step at a time. Today was a better step. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ givesendgo.com/yolandas

No offense intended but that's not really accurate. Colorectal cancer incidence and mortality rates were relatively stable or even declining in the early to mid 20th century way before the introduction of widespread screening. You've foolishly fallen for the medical industrial complex's profit generating propaganda. The same jerkoffs lie and say the procedure doesn't cause diverticulitis but I didn't have it prior to getting it done. Two other family members who also had it done around age fifty all developed diverticulitis after receiving the procedure. To say that ramming a foreign object up your anus that's about as pliable as CB antenna doesn't threaten the integrity of thin intestinal/colon is a liar. Yes, medical literature confirms that while extremely rare, colonoscopy can trigger acute diverticulitis in a small number of cases. That assessment is intentionally misleading. Done in the same spirit as when all usual flu cases and associated deaths seen annually totally disappeared and ended up being reclassified as covid-19 related because they needed covid-19 deaths to validate their poison mRNA gene therapy bioweapon shot coercing hoax. Doctors, the AMA admits were prior to Covid-19 the third leading cause of premature death in America are now number one. The industry is corrupt and what they say cannot be trusted. Be your own health advocate and validate everything doctors say. The days of Dr. Marcus Welby MD are long gone, but the information age is up and running. In closing I'd like to remind everyone that anyone who would knowingly coercer then maliciously inject you with a pathogen responsible for so many horrible side effects and deaths isn't your friend.

โ€ข Inflation and cost of living: Still elevated at 4.2% headline (with risks from global oil/Middle East factors). Many households report feeling worse off โ€” energy bills up sharply for some (50% cited in debates), rents up ~30% in periods, groceries and essentials pressured. Real wages saw initial declines (inflation outpaced nominal growth early on); later partial recovery claimed (longest positive run in years per some ABS data up to mid-2025), but critics note net loss in purchasing power for many since 2022, with recent reversals in some quarters. liberal.org.au โ€ข Debt: Federal gross debt has risen toward ~$1 trillion (from lower inherited levels post-COVID). Not the โ€œ$177B paid offโ€ claimed โ€” it increased overall, though Labor argues better outcomes than Coalition projections. Total public sector debt is higher. โ€ข Housing crisis: Worsened or remained acute. Record unaffordability โ€” average home price passed $1M; rents at highs; supply shortages persist despite the National Housing Accord. Vacancy rates low; prices-to-income ratios among the worst in the developed world. Building completions lagging population growth. bloomberg.com โ€ข Growth and productivity: GDP growth modest (e.g., 0.3% in Q1 2026, annual ~2.5%). Per capita growth weak/negative in stretches โ€” described by some as a per capita recession. Productivity concerns persist. โ€ข Other: Interest rates stayed high for longer (RBA cash rate around 4.35% recently after hikes). Some policies (e.g., childcare) faced rorting claims. Public polling on economic management has been middling (e.g., lower scores than previous governments on economy in some surveys).

Never ask a politician who should use the ER because a "sore throat" can be: -acute leukemia -a surgical emergency like retropharyngeal abscess -an acute airway emergency like epiglottis or Ludwig's angina -a new non-hematological cancer The mouth speaks what the mind knows.

Thankyou Dr. For the detailed explanation. Penicillin is the exception and does not typically trigger hemolysis in G6PD deficiency. Dapsone, cotrimoxazole, and quinine are established high- or moderate-risk oxidant stressors that precipitate acute hemolytic anemia. Beta-lactam antibiotics like penicillin lack significant oxidative effects and are considered safe.

"Even brief exposure led to measurable metal accumulation, the study shows. Metals clustered in patchy, localized deposits rather than spreading evenly. This buildup may increase the risk of lung damage, chronic disease, and impaired healing over time. At the same time, vaping exposure significantly lowered iron levels in the lung to the extent that the researchers called it concerning. Iron supports oxygen transport, immune function, and energy production for cells. Iron deficiency has been linked to serious lung diseases like chronic pulmonary obstructive disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, and acute respiratory distress syndrome." usrtk.org/healthwire/vapes-dโ€ฆ
