Time for assessing survival after one of the warmest summers in mountains of Central Spain. We reached 42°C during the last heatwave (50°C in warming treatments). The result, only 15% of seedlings survived #ADAPTAMIX Forest regeneration is becoming more and more challenging

We reached a milestone in the #ADAPTAMIX project. After 1.5 years, we finished our dendroecological sampling! 1122 oaks and 528 pines sampled along the @PN_Guadarrama Stay stunned for hopefully cool results on plant-plant interactions and forest response to climate change

I have finished the evaluation of cvs for a very short-term contract as technician for my project ADAPTAMIX. There were 20 candidates, one of them has a h-index higher than mine... I am very sad for the lack of opportunities that great researchers face in Spain
