KIVU KUKU Poultry Farm, based in Goma, continues to stand out - not only for producing chicks, eggs, animal feed, and processed chicken meat - but also for its strong social commitment.
In 2025, thanks to emergency funding from ECI, the company successfully restarted operations after a difficult period, rehiring staff and supporting hundreds of vulnerable women.
In February 2026, members of the Association des Mamans Veuves de Sarepta (AMAVESA) received training in poultry farming and modern meat processing techniques - strengthening their economic independence and resilience in Eastern DRC.
This partnership shows that agribusiness can drive both economic performance and real social impact, while contributing to local food security.

🔥 This #GivingTuesday we stand with the widows of AMAVESA in Goma.
Their poultry farm is ready to launch-only $8,000 missing for pest control, feed, meds, transport & 1,500 chicks. This isn’t charity. It’s partnership.
