Six years ago today, on June 17, 2020, we lost CAL FIRE, Coastside Fire Protection District Fire Captain David Lutz in anoff-duty accident.
He was a strong, incredibly tough firefighter respected and loved by many.
His passing remains a powerful reminder for us to appreciate those around us and take on each day with fortitude and gratitude.
His life was a sacrifice, his memory is our guide, and his legacy will endure.
