Women Leading the Way Towards Food Sovereignty in Kerala. #APCNF ECRP team continues to inspire families to grow their own nutritious food. Shamitha was motivated to utilize her 5 cents of land for a kitchen garden, and the area has been cleaned and prepared for bed making. In Sophia's farm, okra, beans, amaranthus, pumpkin, and ridge gourd were sown amidst the banana plantation, while practical training on Dhrava Jeevamrutham preparation was also provided. Sarojini enthusiastically started her kitchen garden with beans, okra, ridge gourd, and bitter gourd after preparing beds near her home. At Ammani's ATM (Any Time Money) Model, a customized #NaturalFarming model designed for small landholdings of 20–30 cents to ensure year round production of diverse, nutrition rich foods, new beds were developed and fresh seeds and seedlings were planted. These small yet transformative actions are strengthening household nutrition, enhancing self-reliance, promoting natural farming practices, and empowering women to become custodians of resilient local food systems. @vijaythallam @AndhraPradeshCM @ap_agriculture @rajbudithi65 @icarindia @AgriGoI #ATMModel #FoodSovereignty #WomenEmpowerment #NutritionSecurity #SustainableAgriculture

“Preparing Bio inputs on our own fields has increased our confidence and reduced our dependence on external inputs,”— Farmer Klemen M. Lariang Under the aegis of the National Resource Organisation (NRO), and on behalf of #APCNF, a Nutri Garden was established in the field of Farmer Klemen M. Lariang, while an #ATMModel was grounded in the field of Farmer Dlesdiba Thongni at Kyrdum Village, Mawshynrut Block, West Khasi Hills (WKH) District. The intervention involved systematic land preparation and sowing of multiple vegetable crops in adherence to #NaturalFarming protocols. Seeds and seedlings were treated with Beejamrutham, and Ghana Jeevamrutham was applied to enhance soil biological activity and crop resilience. Additionally, 50 kg of Ghana Jeevamrutham was prepared on-site by lead farmer Sinolin Thongni, strengthening farmer-led capacity in the preparation and use of natural bio-inputs. This initiative underscores #APCNF’s commitment, through the National Resource Organisation, to promoting sustainable, low-cost, and ecologically resilient farming systems by enabling farmers to adopt self-reliant, locally driven Natural Farming practices. @vijaythallam @ap_agriculture @AndhraPradeshCM @rajbudithi65 #SustainableAgriculture #EcologicalFarming #SoilHealth #LowCostFarming #ClimateResilientAgriculture #FarmerEmpowerment

Proud to witness the impact of PMDS and ATM models on the ground. Grateful for the collaboration with @APZBNF in advancing sustainable, tech-driven farming. 🌱💧 #NaturalFarming #PMDS #ATMModel #VassarLabs
A team from @vassar_labs visited @APZBNF fields in Srikakulam Division to observe #NaturalFarming models in action. They reviewed 160 acres of #PMDS plots in Koyyanapeta, a 10-acre desi paddy nursery, and interacted with Self Help Group women about their experiences with natural farming and vegetable cultivation through the ATM model. At Harichandrapuram, a 0.5-acre ATM plot with 25–30 crop varieties stood out as a unique example across three districts. The visit concluded with live PMDS demonstrations in paddy and fodder fields. #WomenInFarming #VassarLabs @vijaythallam, @rajbudithi65, @ap_agriculture, @AndhraPradeshCM
