Interesante el conjunto de armas que puede llevar el nuevo AW249 Fenice mostrado en el ILA2026.
Vemos el misil AKERON LP, misil Brimstone, misil Fulgur (VSHORAD) todos de MBDA y cohetes Thales de 70 mm guiado y no guiado.
Y por último parece el dron merodeador MBDA ALE

Por la misma inversión, España podría adquirir entre 30 y 40 unidades del AW249 Fenice italiano.
Esto permitiría pasar de una "capacidad simbólica" a una capacidad real para defender Ceuta, Melilla y Canarias simultáneamente, y con tecnología de última generación.
