So let me get this straight... As a Black man in America 🇺🇸, I’m told the path is “pull yourself up by your bootstraps.” I did that. I didn’t get hired as a CEO 💼 — I got hired as a server/bartender. I earn $25/hour — which is well above minimum wage 🧾🍽️. And now I’m being trashed... because I’m not making $60 or $70/hour? 🤨 Let’s be real — some of y’all don’t want working-class folks to win at all. If we’re struggling, we’re called lazy. If we’re surviving, we’re “gaming the system.” If we’re content, we’re criticized for not being “ambitious enough.” 😤 Pick a lane. Do you want people to work? Or do you just want someone to look down on? 👀 I’m not asking for sympathy. I’m just asking you to respect honest work — and stop acting like dignity only belongs to CEOs. 🛑 #WorkingClassPride #BartenderLife #AboveMinimum #NoHandoutsNoShame #BlackWorkingMan #DoubleStandard #RespectTheHustle #BootstrapsOnlyMatterWhenTheyApprove

I make well aboveminimum wage. Advocating for a living wage is not advocating for just my own interests 🙄
