It's somewhat fragmented. I'd explain. In the Nigerian asset management space, the common sub-industries are the fund management space and the pension fund space. Ideally, the fund management space is the core reference because those ones are directly under SEC. In the fund management space, the top 4 are: ▪︎ Stanbic IBTC: ₦2trn ($1.5bn) ▪︎ United Capital: ₦600bn ($400mm) ▪︎ First Capital: ₦600bn ($400mm) ▪︎ ARM: ₦200bn ($133mm) However, these figures do not capture privately-managed funds. In the pensions space, we have: ▪︎ Stanbic IBTC Pensions: ₦6trn ($4bn) ▪︎ AccessARM: ₦3trn ($2bn) ▪︎ Premium Pensions: ₦2trn ($1.3bn) ▪︎ Trustfund Pensions: ₦1.5trn ($1bn) These figures too don't capture privately-managed funds. PS: figures are rough estimates off my head. Actual numbers would vary slightly.

Dave Uduanu, take a bow. One of the most powerful and influential figures in the Nigerian pensions space and financial markets generally. And here comes another gargantuan, my fave, Abimbola Sulaimon. A perfect replacement, imo. She joins the list of few female CEOs of a Nigerian PFA (Yemisi Ayeni of Shell Closed Pension Fund and Aderonke Adedeji of Leadway Pensure). However, none of these PFAs were as large as AccessArm. She was formerly an ED of Investments at AccessARM (and at ARM before the merger). Maami was at Fidelity and Allay Gray (global experience thingy). Academically, Chemical Engineering at undergrad levels, and an MBA at Wharton. She is also a family member🙂🙂 (a CFA charterholder). And she is 44 years old thereabout. A gargantuan🔥🔥🔥
