@BBCAccessAll@nimbusdis@DailyMirror@EASShelpline@oeogovuk the uk is going backwards, 2026 and we are being scrutinised and forced to pay to prove we are disabled by private companies who are then not giving out the cards which have been paid for
Venues festivals, over 2 months I applied I already have significant disabled proof, yet access card are still not processing my application, they have had my money @MSE_Deals I have paid to prove I am disabled and have nothing for it, it’s not my fault my doctors aren’t digital

Why are @AccessCard/@nimbusdis SO slow at replying/sorting things 😭 been waiting a month now for any kind of reply ☹️ 0 communication or help doesn’t feel very access friendly 🥲
AFC Fylde is proud to be partnering with @nimbusdis to introduce the @AccessCard and Digital Access Pass scheme at Mill Farm.

Following - I have also been screwed over by @AccessCard@nimbusdis because they're too focused on PIP shit rather than medical reports. Gatekeeping, Discriminatory and Useless are the three words I'd use to describe them!
Got to say my experience trying to get a card has not been the best.. and trying to get a response from them is a nightmare. Looks like i'm set to miss out on a event because of it.. yet they were quick to take my money for the card .. 😔

Since the Nimbus Access Card came in, access to gigs has actually got harder. Tickets are harder to get, I’m expected to carry a card everywhere, and they refused to register my assistance dog because he isn’t from one of their “approved” charities.

I was about to come on & say how helpful the team at Birmingham Symphony Hall had been, but just checked & they’re #Nimbus now 🫣 Something about 1/ 2 🤷🏻♀️ that’s really disappointing - their Access team were amazing 😕
Common misconception: disabled people don’t need an ID card or register to access reasonable adjustments in England. The Equality Act 2010 requires providers to anticipate and remove barriers.

Interesting to see all the access card hate. I think they are liars.
Their website still says “if your needs haven't changed since you originally applied for an Access Card, this will be handled automatically.”
This is not true, you cannot renew.
