🚨DAY 20 of doing this simple exercise.💪🏽 For music today, I continued with my personal best album of all time, Nipsey Hussle’s 2018 classic ‘Victory Lap’. Started with ‘Dedication’ ft. Kendrick Lamar. For some reason, the word that struck me deeply from the song today was “anti-hesitation”. Many dreams and great ideas have died on the altar of hesitation. Most of the things we enjoy today wouldn’t have existed if the creators hesitated. I lagged yesterday’s time by 4secs. Completed the 100reps x 4 today in a time of 5mins 57secs! 🔥🔥🔥 Note: I took some breaks in between the reps but they were ultra-short. What I can confirm is this: a sub-6mins is possible and repeatable! 💯 Second day in a row of smashing it. 🚨DAY 18 of doing this simple exercise.💪🏽 The unthinkable happened today! 🥹 First, for music, I used my greatest album of all time, my personal war album, Nipsey Hussle’s 2018 classic ‘Victory Lap’ as my workout music. As someone that got to know Nipsey after his tragic passing, this album has gotten me through a lot of times. Most times, I feel Nipsey had a foreshadowing of his demise because the energy he gave to that album was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. He lives forever in the timeless wisdom he dispensed in those lyrics. See, I’ve always thought that the best humanly-possible time for this exercise was 6:30ish. Today, I smashed my PB by more than 40 secs! 🤯 Today’s 100 reps x 4 was a new PB and took 6mins 00secs! 🔥🔥🔥 Note: I took some breaks in between but they were ultra-short.
