A month has passed since Activities Week, which has taken the place of the traditional Camps Week around 15 years ago. Every pupil took part in a week-long activity of their choice, selected from a broad and varied programme of over 30 options.

Lesley Smith, historian and curator of Tutbury Castle, Staffordshire, came in to reenact the role of Elizabeth I in a role play session. Y7 and Y10 GCSE pupils enjoyed a fascinating talk and Q&A session that brought to life Elizabethan England.

Year 7 enjoyed an educational trip to @chesterzoo on Monday. Set in 128 acres of zoological gardens, the zoo cares for over 31,000 animals from over 500 different species and is doing all it can to fight wildlife extinction.

Whilst some of our Form 1 and 2 pupils were in Paris, others enjoyed a few days at #PGL Beam House. They were brilliant and gave everything a go, including trapeze, #climbing, problem solving, a sensory trail, #abseiling, archery and disc golf! #activitiesweek
