AdBlockPlus had a “I don’t care about cookies” that does that … although it accepts em all

@AdblockPlus You forfeit credibility when for what can only be described as political backlash to try to block every single word on pages hosted by TruthSocial.com. The extension icon gave itself away when the counter hit 4 digts every time I refreshed a page on that site. As a test I examined the page source, it's about 1700 bytes yet ABP found >8,000 'ads' on that page and kept it greyed out for 45 seconds. Stupid! Just stupid and arrogant.

Well, @brave is getting a chance. From a die hard Mozilla fanboi. @BrendanEich should be smiling. I have been using Mozilla/Firefox for, well, I guess over 30 years now, and was finally persuaded to try Brave, for the simple reason X wouldn't log me in on Firefox. They've done something to their login process that does some XSS fetch that irritates FIrefox even if I turn off enhanced tracking suppression, shut off NoScript, PrivacyBadger, and AdBlockPlus for the site. So I log in with Brave, and it comes right up, a bit disturbing, but I haven't gone thru settings yet to tighten them up. Now the next challenge: will it talk to my Yubico Authenticator should I once again try to set up touch required 2FA. Enquiring minds want to know. Also, totally subjective observation, Brave X tabs crash with annoying frequency. Not often, but often enough to notice.

I use ddg browser on mobile, and it works well enough for the most part. Firefox on my linux machines works for me, plus adblockplus andy network wide adguardhome dns proxy. You could give chromium a go, but it still phones home to Google, just not as much
