Worauf ich hinaus will, was mein Post zugespitzt signalisiert: Da ist einfach nix mehr außer irgendwelchen albernen Altpunks wie Campino, bisschen Kaulitz-Trallala. Vielleicht übersehe ich etwas, kann sein.

i think about this “crypto anthropologist” comment by @aljaparis in 2021 often. but there’s a duality to it b/c i’m both an artist and an archivist of crypto art culture. part participant, part observer. as an artist, i was fortutnate enough to experience some formative moments as they unfolded in real time. for me that was the AltPunks movement and being part of the TrashArt collective. but the archivist in me also felt compelled to capture their ideas, tensions, emotions, contradictions, and cultural context surrounding those moments as well. my goal was to quickly to preserve something closer to their objective fullness than a single subjective retelling from my perspective. especially before i was lost to time or others tried to rewrite the history. and i did that then the only way knew how then: legacy.secondrealm.com/writi… but these days, i feel myself leaning toward that lens again. except now i think accidental ethnographer might be more accurate than cultural archivist.

Der gestrige Abend hat wieder gezeigt: Nichts ist weißer als eine Veranstaltung mit Linken. Heldenhafte Altpunks um die 60 trugen mit FCKAFD bedruckte T-Shirts. Mir ist nicht bekannt, ob der Beischlaf vollzogen wurde.

was sich oft ändert ist dann vllt das auftreten, zB die meisten altpunks sehen einfach aus wie der generische boomer. ähnlich auch bei vielen altgruftis, jene musik hören etc tun die ja noch weiterhin.

Ich feiere das! Das sind die echten Rebellen, während sich die AltPunks aus den Siebzigern immer noch für solche halten mit ihrem AntifaGebrülle.

Ich fand immer so kleine Konzerte mit Altpunks waren nach aussen immer Chaos und Gewalt aber selten blaue Flecken gehabt. Aber wenn du dann bei so grossen Bands wie BadReligion warst, da haben die Leute richtig reingeprügelt. PogoTouristen nannte ich das.

Das wäre ne schöne Forderung von so Altpunks. APPD gibt's ja leider nicht mehr.
