An impactful business seminar in Kobe. Consulate General joined JETRO Kobe, Kobe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Nippon Indo Cultural and Economic Center (NICE) for an India focused seminar "India Economic Seminar: India’s Industrial Expansion and the Future of Japan Japan–India Business Collaboration and Growth Strategy" in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The Seminar focused on business and investment opportunities under the Make in India, showcasing the vast potential in India for Japanese companies. Consul General @chandruappar in his keynote address emphasized the improved business climate and the potential it unlocks for Japanese Companies to scale in India, to make in India for the World. Ms Yuka Fujioka, Vice Chairperson of the Kobe Chamber of Commerce & Industry and President of Fujioka Metals Co., Ltd presented the growing business connections between Kansai and India. Ms. Emi Teshima, Director, JETRO Kobe briefed on the Investment Environment in India and Japanese Companies’ Expansion. Representatives from Osaka Gas, Horiba Ltd and Anatech Yanaco Corp shared practical aspects & experience on doing business in India. They also highlighted the opportunities in the Indian Market. Mr Shitoru Roy, President NICE highlighted practical considerations in conducting business in India.

Consulate General in collaboration with Nippon Indo Cultural & Economic Center Kyoto, hosted a business seminar on the topic “Keys to Success in the Indian Market”. Speakers included JETRO’s Ms. Yuno Fukatsu and President of Kyoto Shinkin Bank speaking on market opportunities, along with leaders from Sumitomo, Shimadzu, Enrission, and Anatech discussing their experiences and India expansion plans.
