If your heavy animations feel weak, check your line of action.
Curved lines usually feel softer and lighter.
Straighter lines create more tension and make actions feel heavier.
Small change. Huge difference.

Squash & stretch makes everything feel better.
But building it by hand in After Effects? …painful.
That’s why I created Squash & Stretch.
At first I thought:
“Just click a button and done.”
But squash & stretch isn’t one formula — it’s an artistic choice.
Different squash/stretch timing and shapes create a completely different mood.
So instead of replacing the artist with an algorithm,
we did the opposite:
We built a large library of hand-crafted squash & stretch behaviors
made by artists — ready to apply to your layers in seconds.

No sob story or promo, just sharing this from when I was learning on animation principles.
A follower once asked what to study if you don’t have a system yet. My answer? The basics: squash & stretch, overshoot, follow through.
The average viewer won’t name them, but they feel it when animation flows.
This isn’t just a ball bounce, it starts rigid, gains fluidity, and ends with a bounce back. Just like life. You might sink, but you can still bounce back.
And yes… I’m a hundred shades of awesome at this motion design thing.
Got a project in mind? You know what to do.
