American "Apaches" are fantasies. According to US reports, Iran shot down an American Apache helicopter over Oman's territorial waters. It is claimed that the helicopter, if it was indeed there, was engaged in piracy. The helicopter crashed as a result of an unknown strike, fell into the sea, but the crew was not injured. In my youth, before I graduated from university and became an officer, I first served as a private in the reserve and served in the Apache battalion. I wasn't a pilot, but I spent a significant amount of time around these helicopters and their crews. So, I know a bit about this. The helicopter's shell is very thin; even a 5.45 mm caliber can penetrate it. Helicopters operate like snipers. If an anti-tank missile, such as the "Igla", hits the helicopter, it will be completely destroyed. If the main rotor is damaged, the helicopter falls like a brick. If the tail rotor is damaged, it starts spinning in the opposite direction to the main rotor. If there's damage to the engine, an explosion will destroy the vehicle. Some claim that the strike was carried out by a drone, but this is hard to believe, as the helicopter is quite maneuverable. Of course, there's a possibility that it was blown up too close and shrapnel hit the Apache. Well, or it could just be a mechanical malfunction. In any case, the pilots were able to exit the damaged helicopter. The only way to escape is up, through the dome. There's no ejection system, as it's extremely dangerous to exit through the main rotor. The pilots had to land and, after the shock of the impact, but before the vehicle sank, get out and swim away. However, the real issue isn't whether there was a strike or not. Trump boasted that he had driven the Iranians to sign the agreement he wanted, and they were about to sign everything. If this were true, the American leadership would have attributed this loss to mechanical problems. But then came the strikes. What does this tell us? Why did Trump abandon such an agreement? Most likely, because there was no agreement at all, and a man who lies with every word he says has to find a way to wriggle out of it somehow. And we trusted this?

Near the Strait of Hormuz, an American Apache went down. Iran claimed it. But NFSC intelligence points to CCP-supplied weapons—and that changes the battlefield. The Chinese Communist Party is engineering cheap systems to hunt expensive American power: helicopters, drones, carriers, bombers, bunker-busters. This is not a random aid to Iran. It is the CCP doctrine: Small against large, weak against strong, cheap against expensive. Tehran is the hand. Beijing is the engineer.

So… Iran, a country whose military we’ve “destroyed”, was able to shoot down one of our Apache helicopters, during a “ceasefire”, in the middle of a war that isn’t a war, which is “two days” away from ending?

Dziś o nowych latających radarach, czyli samolotach wczesnego ostrzegania i dowodzenia AEW&C, z apelem do polityków z obu stron politycznej barykady.
