Thanks for the franckness. Without knowing what those other priorities are, I must say the App dev strategy around Domino is not that clear for us. Java ? Node ? AppDevPack ? XPages ? NomadWeb … see a multitude of initiative but either in maintenance (XP) mode or half baked …

WIP: Today we gone beta with our global spare part coverage calculator with visual map and download options. Data is delivered by DQL (AppDevPack) of a 10 year old NSF. Frontend done in 1 day.

As far I read about AppDevPack and authentication, it is over complicated, so adoption rate will be lower as expected

AppDevPack based development would probably be used more often if you did not need the IAM server in that setup and have all the certificate hassle. E.g. just install AppDevPack via npm and point it to the Domino URL. User login is handled by forwarding the user to Domino.
