I’ve seen the latest message from Deborah Ann Minto to @yhalfkiwib and it needs a strong response. Calling a fellow patriot “mentally unhealthy,” “obsessive,” and urging her to “talk to a doctor” while warning of brain and nerve damage is not concern — it’s public shaming and deflection. Misty is a kind-hearted woman with a passionate commitment to election integrity. Yes, she can be intense. But that intensity comes from genuine care for clean elections and rule of law, not instability. In the Arizona Patriots group, she posted polite invitations to a **public Arizona Supreme Court hearing** on LD-30 candidate David Michael Rose. Rose has prior felony convictions (theft by deception and check fraud). The fair question was whether he properly restored his civil rights under Arizona law before running for office. No attacks, no spam — just facts and a link to the virtual hearing. The admin deleted those replies and banned her anyway. When Misty spoke out about the censorship, Deborah and others piled on with “victim mentality” accusations. Now this. Telling someone they’re unsafe to speak their opinion while you delete theirs is the real issue. Misty has a consistent record fighting for transparency in Mohave County GOP and beyond. She unfollowed and tried moving on, yet the attacks continue. Patriots should welcome debate on candidate eligibility and free speech — not shut it down and diagnose dissenters. Strong convictions aren’t mental illness. Questioning whether a candidate with a criminal record followed election laws isn’t obsession — it’s accountability. Real community protects open discussion, not feelings. Real leadership doesn’t mock or ban members for sharing public court information.
