Clients may feel obligated to provide positive feedback to maintain good relationships with their coaches or to justify their participation in the program. Personal testimonials, while meaningful to individuals, cannot substitute for scientific evidence of effectiveness." There is no question that collaboration with an experienced mentor may be useful. But there is nothing "scientific" or certain about their insights or systems. And nothing... at this point in time... to certify as effective, professional, cost effective. The most important things in ANY form of counseling is personal rapport and trust... And focusing on your comfort, safety, and own judgment and autonomy.
