They're trying to sell you stuff. Almost every vtuber starts with a free or very low budget model and outfit setup. You'll get a TON of bots in your stream chat as well (just a heads up.) Just ignore them until you get chat filters/ automods/ and dedicated moderators.

And to put that into even more absurd perspective, Twitch didn't give a single shit about the various dark jokes I would make in chat rooms, or even when I snuck the N-word past their automods(read my Twitter bio if you wanna see how I did it)
