Explained 👇 unless BCFN decide to change their agreed hierarchy then Hereditary chiefs have ultimate say.
I am not indigenous. I support regulated development that emulates the current FN lifestyle that all use products made from bitumen.

Im not sure what you're taking offense to or what A.21 UNDRIP has to do with what I said. More to do with Article 23. My comment about the hereditary chiefs has nothing to do with UNDRIP but everything to do with BCFN hierarchy/authority with hereditary chiefs vs. Elected chief
BCFN spent 50yrs fighting in court over the oil tanker moratorium & they won't budge now. So Smith should focus on Keystone south & Trans Mtn west & possibly a route north to Alaska but fossil fuels us a dying industry. She may be too late
Wrong. BCFN are pro-LNG but not crude oil & even if majority did agree yrs ago, the Hereditary Chiefs have final authority unless they fight their own system. Smith should have run with it vs. Whine about regs. Now FN have tons of legal backing & supported by international law.
