4/6 #BOU24 #SESH5: We made digital versions of 9 planned housing developments and modified each 5 times under different land-management scenarios. Using the models, we made species count predictions for the original and scenario developments. #BTOScience

3/6 #BOU24 #SESH5: Count data from @BBS_birds is summarised , and urban landscape metrics extracted for each survey using high-resolution surface datasets. Species-specific models are formed by combining metrics with significant relationships to survey counts. #BTOScience

The UK has approx 335 breeding pairs of Choughs (2014-2015), an increase of 34% since the 1992 survey. Longevity record is 23 years although 7 years is the typical lifespan with 0.43 juveniles surviving their first year. Their Conservation Status is Green. #btoscience
