I became a university student at 60. If I told my 10-year-old self, she’d probably make a weird face and say, “Grandmas don’t go to university!” If I told my 20-year-old self, she’d laugh and say, “We’re classmates now? That’s hilarious!” My 30-year-old self would probably snap, “You’ve got it easy~ I’m over here drowning in childcare!” My 40-year-old self would completely ignore it and say, “First things first, I need to earn the tuition money.” My 50-year-old self might look a little disappointed and say, “Wait… after retirement, we were supposed to travel the world as a couple…” But I’m here now because every version of me worked hard and kept going, day after day.
