The summer circuit can break athletes or build them. We teach three principles: Recognize pressure early, Regulate emotions before reacting, and Reinforce process over outcome. Leadyourjourney.com/authoran… #LeadYourJourney #60ForMe #MentalPerformance #BeTheExample

The summer circuit can either build an athlete emotionally or slowly break them down depending on how the adults around them respond during hard moments. That is why we teach three simple principles all summer long: Recognize. Regulate. Reinforce. Recognize what is happening in the moment. Recognize the frustration, the body language, the pressure, the disappointment, the fear of failure, or the emotional spiral before it completely takes over. Awareness matters. Regulate emotions before reacting. Softball is emotional, especially during the summer when expectations, heat, recruiting pressure, and fatigue all collide. Athletes need to learn how to slow their breathing, control their reactions, reset their thoughts, and regain composure instead of letting one bad moment define the rest of the day. Reinforce what actually matters. Reinforce effort, resilience, toughness, communication, leadership, accountability, and recovery. Reinforce the process instead of only celebrating outcomes. The athletes who last the longest are not always the most talented. They are usually the ones who learn how to recover emotionally the fastest. As parents and coaches, we cannot remove pressure from the game, but we can help athletes learn how to move through pressure with confidence and emotional control. That is where real growth begins. There comes a point in every athlete’s journey where talent is no longer enough. Confidence matters. Leadership matters. Emotional control matters. The relationship between athlete and parent matters. Leading Her Game was written for the parents raising young women in sports while trying to balance support, accountability, pressure, confidence, recruiting, emotions, adversity, and growth both on and off the field. This is not just a softball book. It is a leadership and development book for families navigating the journey together. Inside the book, we dive into: • Confidence and mindset development • Parent-athlete communication • Handling pressure and perfectionism • Leadership and resilience • Mental health and emotional regulation • Recruiting and long-term development • Building strong relationships through sports • Intentional effort and consistency over time Whether your daughter is 10 years old just learning the game or competing at the highest levels chasing college opportunities, this book was designed to help parents lead with purpose and become a steady presence in the journey. Because the goal is not just raising better athletes. It is raising strong, confident, resilient young women prepared for life beyond the game. leadyourjourney.com/authoran… #LeadYourJourney #60ForMe #SoftballParents #LeadingHerGame #FastpitchSoftball #SoftballLife #MentalPerformance #AthleteDevelopment #SportsParent #BeTheExample

Players want confidence. Coaches want consistency. Parents want direction. None of that happens by accident. Summer is where athletes either drift or develop. It is where habits get exposed, recruiting starts taking shape, leadership grows, and intentional effort separates athletes and teams from everybody else. That is why we built the free Lead Your Journey Summer Goal Sheet for athletes and the Summer Coach Planner for coaches. The Athlete Edition helps players: • Build a real summer vision • Set mindset, performance, and recruiting goals • Track workouts, confidence, effort, and recovery • Stay accountable with weekly reflections and planning • Focus on becoming a better athlete and a better person The Coach Planner helps coaches: • Organize recruiting communication and exposure • Plan practices and player development intentionally • Track team standards, leadership, and accountability • Build structure around consistency and growth • Stay organized during the busiest part of the year This is bigger than softball. This is about creating intentional athletes, organized coaches, stronger communication, and better leadership throughout the summer grind. If you say you want growth, have a system behind it. Not every win shows up on a scoreboard. Some victories happen in classrooms, in late nights of effort, in creative work, in believing in yourself enough to keep showing up when nobody is watching. We are incredibly proud of Ireland Cates for winning the 45th Annual Congressional Art Competition. That level of achievement does not happen by accident. It takes discipline, courage, creativity, intentional effort, and the willingness to keep growing through the process. At Lead Your Journey, this is what we believe in. Athletics matter. Competition matters. Performance matters. But developing the complete person matters even more. Leadership. Confidence. Creativity. Accountability. Character. The ability to step into different environments and still lead your journey with purpose. Ireland continues to represent what it means to be more than just an athlete. She is building skills, confidence, and opportunities that will impact her future far beyond the field. Proud of you, @ICates45048. Keep creating. Keep growing. Keep leading! #LeadYourJourney #60ForMe #IntentionalEffort #BeTheExample #StudentAthlete #Leadership #ArtCompetition #BloomingdaleBulls #SoftballLife #FemaleAthlete #MindsetMatters

Success leaves clues. Katelyn Conner is proving what can happen when talent meets intentional effort, consistency over time, and the willingness to compete in every environment she steps into. As a freshman, earning 1st Team All-Area Soccer and Rookie of the Year is a major accomplishment. Those awards are not handed out because of one good game or one good moment. They come from preparation, discipline, coachability, work ethic, and the ability to stay steady through pressure and adversity. What makes this even more impressive is the balance required to succeed as a multi-sport athlete while managing school, training, competition, recovery, and everyday life as a young athlete. That takes maturity beyond the scoreboard. At Lead Your Journey, we believe the goal is bigger than trophies and awards. It is about building confident young leaders who learn how to handle success, setbacks, pressure, and growth the right way. Katelyn continues to represent that mindset at a high level. We are proud of the athlete she is becoming, but even more proud of the person she is becoming through the process. Congratulations, Katelyn. Keep working. Keep growing. Keep leading your journey! #LeadYourJourney #60ForMe #IntentionalEffort #BeTheExample #RookieOfTheYear #StudentAthlete #MultiSportAthlete #GirlsSoccer #Leadership #MindsetMatters

Rankings are exciting. Recognition matters. Being named a Top 100 player is something very few athletes ever accomplish, especially in a class as competitive as 2029 softball. But what makes this special is not just the number beside Piper Todd’s name. It is the work behind it. The early mornings. The extra reps. The pressure. The sacrifices. The moments nobody sees when confidence has to be rebuilt after failure, mistakes, tough weekends, and the emotional ups and downs that come with being a high-level athlete at a young age. That is what people often miss when they see graphics like this. Athletes like Piper are not just developing physically. They are learning how to handle expectations, adversity, leadership, pressure, social comparison, recruiting conversations, and the challenge of continuing to grow while everybody around them starts paying attention. Being recognized nationally is incredible, but staying grounded, coachable, humble, and hungry while carrying that recognition matters even more. Piper continues to represent what intentional effort looks like. She competes hard, continues developing her game, and continues working to become the best version of herself both on and off the field. Congratulations to Piper Todd on being ranked #73 in the Hot 100 Player Rankings for the 2029 class. The journey is still just getting started. #LeadYourJourney #60FORME #PiperTodd #SoftballRecruiting #FastpitchSoftball #AthleteDevelopment #IntentionalEffort #BeTheExample Pipertodd.com @pipertodd2029

For more than 25 years, I’ve dedicated my life to working with young people through leadership, athletics, mentorship, education, coaching, and development. From serving as a Navy Chief Petty Officer, to coaching softball athletes across the country, to building businesses and mentoring families through Lead Your Journey, one thing has always stayed consistent for me: Kids need direction. Kids need opportunity. Kids need people willing to invest in them. This July, we are turning the Lead Your Journey Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Camp into a fully community-sponsored event for 50 kids in our local community. This will be a FREE three-day summer camp designed to help young people learn: • Leadership • Entrepreneurship • Branding and marketing • Confidence building • Goal setting • Financial understanding • Communication skills • Business development • Purpose and intentional effort These are real life skills that many kids never get exposure to early enough. Our goal is simple: Connect young people with business owners, entrepreneurs, leaders, and mentors who want to give back and help shape the next generation. What the sponsored camp includes for each child: • 3 full days of instruction and mentorship • Meals provided daily • Camp workbook and materials • Swag bag • Leadership and business development sessions • Networking opportunities • Confidence and mindset training • Certificate of completion The total sponsorship cost is approximately $100 per child. We are ideally looking for business owners willing to sponsor: • 4–5 kids individually or • Partner together with other businesses to help us reach all 50 kids. Sponsors will receive: • Business advertising and recognition • Exposure across all Lead Your Journey and affiliated social media platforms • Access to more than 15,000 active followers and families • Inclusion inside participant swag bags • Community visibility connected to youth leadership and development • Opportunities to speak, connect, or network during the event We are also currently looking for: • Community business sponsors • Entrepreneurs willing to teach or mentor • Guest speakers • Event partners • Businesses willing to donate materials or resources • An event space in the Pasco County area willing to host the camp in July About Me: • 25 years working with youth • Former United States Navy Chief Petty Officer • Leadership and youth development background • Founder of Lead Your Journey • Florida PGF State Director • Speaker, mentor, coach, and published author • Worked with thousands of athletes, students, parents, and families across the country • Focused on leadership, mindset, confidence, intentional effort, and long-term development I believe our communities become stronger when business owners and leaders intentionally invest into the next generation. Sign-ups for kids will officially open June 1. Between now and then, I’m looking to connect with business owners and community leaders who want to be part of building something meaningful for local kids. If you would like to sponsor a child, partner with the event, teach, speak, donate resources, or host the event: contact@leadyourjourney.com 704-807-5663 #LeadYourJourney #60FORME #TampaBay #PascoCounty #YouthLeadership #Entrepreneurship #CommunityLeadership #IntentionalEffort #BeTheExample #YouthDevelopment

The most dangerous player on the field is not the loudest one. It is not always the one with the most attention, the biggest reputation, or the perfect stat line. It is the player who has done the work inside herself. The one who no longer walks onto the field trying to prove she belongs. The one who understands that confidence cannot be borrowed from a coach, a parent, a teammate, a ranking, or a box score. Because when confidence comes from the outside, it can be taken away just as fast. One bad at-bat. One mistake. One comment. One rough weekend. One coach’s opinion. But when a player builds confidence through intentional effort, preparation, character, and daily ownership, she becomes different. She competes with freedom. She gives everything she has, not because she is chasing approval, but because that is who she has trained herself to be. That is what we build through Lead Your Journey and 60ForMe. We help athletes develop the mindset, discipline, confidence, and leadership tools they need to show up stronger on the field, in the classroom, and in life. Nothing to prove. Everything to give. leadyourjourney.com #LeadYourJourney #60FORME #SoftballMindset #AthleteDevelopment #Confidence #Leadership #IntentionalEffort #BeTheExample
