Happy Monday Morning everyone. Hope everyone is well. I will not be streaming this week. Due to me redoing my Pc & doing new stuff. I just got word yesterday that beepbot might be Shutting Down. Plus i have to work on a new bot for streams. This is going to take me some time. I still feel like i need this time off. Its always nice to step back every now & then to Take time for your self & Recalibrate. Plus if i stream i want to love to stream & not feel like i have to stream. Honestly, no bot is "great". They all run into the same issue which is a lack of an official API. One of our mutuals recently setup @mrboost92's StreamElements Connector Widget for Alerts. On Twitch they used SE as well, so it was a easy switch. Only issue they have is they have to reset the JWT Token or Overlay Token each stream. As much as I dislike some of SE's tactics, it's reliable and you can customize it all you want. But the Connector Widget faces the same issues that other bots do which is sometimes events aren't passed to it. I think the "best" option right now is Botrix/BeepBot/AeroKick for commands and such and then StreamElements for Alerts because you can use them on multiple platforms (Twitch, YT, Kick, etc.) AeroKick has recently started making waves with some of their features, so might be worth looking into.

PayPal, from my understanding, is a weird situation. Do I think it will come "soon" (as in next month or two), no. But if I recall correctly, at one point, someone said they were thinking of bringing in another provider (besides Stripe) for the Kick's (bits) integration. So if it's coming, it'll likely be around then. For Wizebot, that's dependent on Wizebot. They could integrate now, that's how Botrix, AeroKick, BeepBot and others are working (public API). Or they can wait until the official API release, then it's open season for everyone.

Reminder: BeepBot is better at moderating chat than Kick's default options and Botrix, in my opinion. BeepBot has way more customization on how you moderate your chat and has your basics. ✅Words ✅Symbols ✅Links ✅Essays ✅Emotes ✅Caps All of this can be customized to a deeper level than Botrix and 10x better than Kick's ***** moderation. Botrix can only be toggled on/off but doesn't give you any options to customize. With Beepbot and Botrix, someone says an inappropriate word, message deleted automatically. None of this ***** stuff. Only thing BeepBot and Botrix are missing, automatic bans. Would love to have it so if someone says XYZ bad word, they're just yeeted.

Kick Streamers - Reminder that Botrix and BeepBot are better for Banned Words than Kick itself. I absolutely hate the way that Banned Words work on Kick by putting ***** for the Banned Word and there is no way to know which word was said. I personally like how BeepBot works with Banned words vs Botrix. But both will delete words that are added. BeepBot just allows your mods to add words as needed while You, the Streamer, are the only person that can add words in Botrix. Also, BeepBot "can" do it silently rather than putting a message in chat.

I think its a matter of simply having them 1 click away. And not having to fuss with a bot. People want streamer.bot or some other means. I know your love for BeepBot. But lets be honest. No one uses bots for stuff like that anymore when you have all these other tools
