Plastic waste has economic and environmental impacts and we need new routes to reuse and recycle. @JoSadler10 and @Dr_StephenW discovered bacteria can be used to convert plastic into vanillin, a valuable chemical used in food and cosmetics edin.ac/352Uq86 #BioWeekScot22
