Yo los ordeno por geografía/lengua y es la gloria para encontrar. Tengo argentinos, latinoamericanos, españoles (catalanes aparte), italianos (y grecolatinos), franceses y resto de europa continental, ingleses, irlandeses, yankees. Y después no ficción (historia, biogs, etc).

Biogs, written in the third person, but clearly by the person themselves (because noone else would be interested), are always really obvious and a bit cringe). I wouldn't be surprised if it's him.

Flashback to the BioGS Classic – where it all began. A pioneer in air purification, its timeless design still whispers of the fresh beginnings in many a home's story. #ThrowbackTech #BioGSClassic #PurifiedNostalgia

Eliz Goudge does sound a lovely person! I've read her autobio & biogs. Most especially, I am awed by her ability to create a sense of goodness in her bks, in people & places, without (at least to my teenage self) being 'soppy' or Pollyanna-ish. So grateful they were on fam shelf.

For the purposes of completing my #BookFarm-assist form, I spent today sorting my bookcases. Largest collection = #poetry. Top author of non-fiction @AdeTinniswood #heritage 😊 & largest fiction collection #PGWodehouse, weighing in at 28 (his novels & biogs) #BookLover #Libraries

He's not put it back in his online biogs since the election, but I am given to understand he's still in the mix.

I am not the person you think I am. I am a British economist, not an American filmmaker. Nicholas Cage is nothing to do with me. Please check biogs before tagging.

Poor show. But always with the biogs (sigh). I used to have to edit (and concise to uniform length) singers’ biogs for CD booklets. Whenever an agent cut up rough, I usually managed to talk them round with my killer line: The shorter it is, the more likely people are to read it.

Not just you. Winterreise without text and translation is a particular frustration. The poetry and the music are in genuine dialogue; the biogs tell you nothing about what you're hearing.

No programme notes at all now at King’s Place. Is it just me or, given people have already bought tix, notes or texts/translations might be more helpful for the meagre 2 pages than long artist biogs?

Hartnell and Delgado's TV and radio obits in 1973 and 1975 were respectful and factual career biogs. Even Troughton's in 1987 was straight with no added personal comments. How far things had slipped for TV news by 1996.

You don't provide a defence deterrent for half of the globe. The reason you have bases in other countries is to enhance the reach of the US for its own security. Why don't you inform yourself instead of spending your time making up 'amusing' biogs and talking rubbish.

Have any of you read this? One of my all time music biogs- just a great story told in the most entertainingly frank way. I’ve read it 3 times and recommended it countless times

Brilliant thread here of mini-biogs of all the MPs to represent Makerfield since 1906 Can't be hardly anywhere else in England which has had continual Labour representation since the party's breakthrough in that year

By coincidence I was writing today about MPs elected here - all Labour since 1906. Here are their pocket bios: Stephen Walsh (1906-29) - orphan who left school to work in an Ashton-in-Makerfield mine at the age of 13

Maybe we should all change our biogs to "Never dated Wes Streeting" for a few days?

Callaghan didn't claim to be well educated. Biogs usually said he "left school early", and he was often called "Stoker Jim" because of his occasional work as a stoker in the Navy. I wouldn't call him refined either, though in meeting him I did find him friendly and pleasant.

People need to get their heads out of their arses and see the broader picture. With Sinitta spilling the beans on reality TV, two of his exes writing tell-all biogs, his fiancée rumoured to be leaving him, AND a 1D doc in the offing, time is hopefully running out for that twat.
