Bitcode is poised to become a key player in Bitcoin's evolution, moving from retail demand to institutional adoption and ultimately industrial integration. As crypto continues to grow, how will tools like Bitcode shape Bitcoin's future? #Crypto #Bitcoin #Blockchain

Bitcoin’s early-game was retail demand, its mid-game was [financial] institutional adoption, and its end-game will be industrial integration. 🥕 Bitcode is ready to become a powerful workhorse for Bitcoin. 👨‍🌾

Where zero-copy deserialization is not a hard requirement, I've had excellent results with: bitcode encode → zstd (L3) compress → zstd decompress → bitcode decode For latency-sensitive hot paths where every copy matters: rkyv / SBE / carefully designed binary protocols → direct buffer access → process The former tends to be ridiculously effective for transport and storage. The latter shines when minimizing allocations, copies, cache misses, and latency matters more than compression. I've found that using compressed binary formats for bulk transport and zero-copy/direct-access formats for hot paths often provides an excellent balance between throughput, storage efficiency, and latency. As always, benchmark against your own workload. Reality has a habit of disagreeing with theory. Happy paths are where benchmarks are born. Production is where they go to die

Good afternoon. A few fun facts about Bitcode: 🍵 Bitcode normalizes unique knowledge as one volumetric measurement, BTD. 🍵 BTD are fungible but not divisible. The exist as non-fungible ranges which carry the rights to their provenant knowledge. 🍵 BTD has a fixed supply of 21,000,000 with a deflationary minting mechanic: the fewer BTD that remain, the greater knowledges’ read satisfactions must be to mint.

My name is Garrett Maring and I am the creator of Bitcode 🧪 I am seeking a business savvy co-founder to take the protocol from a project to a formidable international company ⚖️

Bitcode can’t wait to be there 🇧🇷

None of the coins launched with bitcode actually uses the quantum protection and its literally impossible on pumpfun. But i made it on meteora properly by modifying the source code a bit.

BitCode starts today. 🚀 A 3-month peer learning journey where we solve DSA problems, share ideas, get stuck, unstick each other, and grow. No teachers. No passive learning. Just consistency, collab, and problem solving. To everyone in: let’s build discipline, not just skills.

Larp🚨. What I found in the actual code: • No Solana code. No Bitcoin. No quantum/post-quantum crypto anywhere (grepped for solana, bitcoin, quantum, kyber, dilithium, lattice → zero hits). • Cargo.toml literally says description = "bitcode is a bitwise binary serializer", authors Cai Bear & Finn Bear, repo pointing back to SoftbearStudios. • Zero commits from Ethan. Every one of the 153 commits is upstream Softbear work. He wrote nothing. • The only thing he did was edit the GitHub “About” blurb to “Rust-native Solana Bitcoin.” That’s the entire “product.” • 0 stars, 0 forks, 0 contributors of his own. The “bitcode” name is doing the con, it pattern-matches to “bitcoin” so people don’t click through. Blue check “Dr.” impressive tagline. Bettimg nobody reads the repo.😂

Larp🚨. Fyi, it's a fork of SoftbearStudios/bitcode. a generic rust serialization library. No solana, no bitcoin, no quantum anything in the code. i grepped. He changed the github description and called it a product. 0 commits of his own. Read the repo before you ape.

Obviously only LLVM is supported as a build system (since you need to compile to bitcode), but it works with clang-cl just fine!

Definitely agree foundational custody accessibility and practical supported use are both different and important. Also, “🫶 MIT” from Bitcode 🧑‍🔬

In 1962, the American economist Kenneth Joseph Arrow wrote Economic Welfare and the Allocation of Resources for Invention where he stated: "Its value for the purchaser is not known until he has the information, but then he has in effect acquired it without cost." After over 60 years, Bitcode is the first protocol to solve the economic problem of informational economics at scale. We are just getting started! 🪛🧪 nber.org/system/files/chapte…

Wishing everyone an awesome week! 🍵 Bitcode lives at the intersection of knowledge economics and cryptography. 💹 I am looking to grow the core R&D team. 🧑‍🔬 If you’re a software engineer, computer scientists, or good-natured smarty-pants, our DMs are open! 💚

Apple tried to do that with Bitcode, then it was discontinued. The problem is that, AFAIK, the compiler generating the IR being aware of the target system is important.
