Dormant Wallets
Dormant wallets are simply wallets that haven’t been active for a long time, sometimes days, sometimes years. When they suddenly wake up and start buying, it usually means something. The longer the inactivity before the buy, the stronger the signal.
Example:
A wallet dormant for 267 days bought
$GRUG around a $30k market cap.
Digging deeper, you’d see it was linked to wallets that were early on BITNUT (which topped at $1.5M).
Other related wallets had $100k transfers with very few trades, clear signs this wasn’t a degen gambler, but a serious player moving size.
Result?
$GRUG ran to $1.4M.
The alpha buried in dormant wallets is enormous. Of course, manually tracking every single one on-chain is nearly impossible… but I’ll give you a solution later.
