With every one minute in delay for blood product delivery, the odds of mortality in a bleeding trauma patient increases by 5%. This staggering stat emphasizes the necessity for coordination in activating massive hemorrhage protocol (MHP). A big thank you to Dr. @petrosoniak , trauma team lead at St. Michael’s hospital for taking us through your experience on when to activate MHP, and how to operationalize it, ensuring optimal coordination when every second matters.   Next, we had more collaborative case studies, this time on the topics of post-partum hemorrhage, and management of anticoagulation/anti-platelets. Hosted by Dr. @LorrainechowMD and Dr. Oksana Prokopchuk-Gauk. #BMMWest #BleedingManagementMasterclass #TraumaCare #MHP #PPH
