A couple of things I really appreciate about @LucyQuist’s approach to another unfolding #African #renaissance is focusing on #depth of #transformation and on a #few people at a time. I could give you 15 reasons (literally, no kidding!) why in the long run this is the most efficacious route to #sustainable #success in making #BOLD the #newnormal in #Africa. I illustrated this #powerful yet #paradoxical nature of #movements at The Bold New Normal Conference and reminded folks that THAT was the way of the greatest teacher-revolutionary that ever lived. Within decades, the people in the Hellenistic world were saying of His followers, “The people that have turned the world upside down have come here also.” Today, there are 2.3 billion followers of The Way, in every one of the approximately 200 countries and territories on this terrestrial ball. The other thing #TheBoldNewNormal #movement is gradually doing is #networking the various small pockets of African #excellence until there is a huge #ecosystem of #polycentric excellence as the bold new normal. For instance until the event, I hadn’t yet heard of, let alone, met a number of the speakers and exhibitors. Throughout #history, a certain few #influence the masses. Watch this #TBNN space!
