Of course yes. Boot to WinPEe which don't need more RAM. Than run CMD by Shift F10. In diskpart prepare your disk and partitions, apply any .wim image you want and by bcdedit make your configuration bootable. That's all ;)

Yeah I've told them about it in this reply, if they use rufus to make the Windows 11 bootable usb installer, rufus can patch those things out by default.

Maximum Windows OS you'll be able to run is Windows 11 Version 23H2 due to 24H2 and newer requiring the CPU to have SSE 4.2 instructions, which isn't present on Intel Core 2 CPUs and has been introduced since Core i7 Nehalem (2008), Core i3 Bloomfield (2010).

Also you'll have to do some registry tweaks to bypass the artificial requirement checks, if you use Rufus, it can easily bypass that for you!

Spent two hours trying to get A RAID card to update the BIOS. Finally got to a point where I can troubleshoot and turns out putting the files in the root of the bootable USB is wrong and must be in a subdir.
Stupid me for closely following documentation.

20 ans après la guerre, mais… Le plus simple, c’est d’avoir une clé bootable sous la main, toujours, même ancienne.
Après, je songe de plus en plus à supprimer carrément windows, mais bon… Il me faut sauter le pas hahaha

it is free - nothing holding you back. mind you GNU/Linux is very opinionated because - you have more freedom. grab an old computer, download and create a bootable flash drive - there is your 1st step
