I've exited from BotBuilt. The company is continuing on a SaaS trajectory. I wish them all the best. I'm working on the next idea Rick Rubin style. Id appreciate factory tours and smart people to argue with about ideas.

Led by Pear VC (@pearvc) with support from GS Futures, Kakao Ventures, and others, the round will fund product R&D, hiring, and expansion into large enterprise manufacturing. Their platform turns simple video walkthroughs into interactive 3D digital twins, letting robotics teams test performance, reliability, and ROI without touching real hardware. It works with NVIDIA Omniverse, Unreal, Unity, and adds AI-assisted scenario testing at cloud scale. Early adopters include Orangewood Labs (industrial robots), BotBuilt (home construction robots), and Rainier Labs (mobile welding robots). By removing the testing bottleneck, Parallax Worlds is helping factories adopt robots faster, safer, and smarter. We're working on making it a terrible asset class at BotBuilt. I had a housing investor ask if it was my intention to tank the prices of homes. He saw investment in BotBuilt as a way to hedge risk from robots.

My kids are good advisors, at dinner at least once a week, "Dad how's BotBuilt going? How are your workers?" Also everywhere we go, to random people, "Hi, my dad runs a business."

I got to meet @jansramek earlier this year. Not only does he have vision, but he's got courage too. If you get a chance ask him about the beginning. I can't wait for BotBuilt to build those 400k homes.

We're building this at BotBuilt for wood. Wood shouldn't be a second-class citizen, it has a place in our homes and shops. We're building the future of digital carpentry.
