I had 2 stovepipes in the first mag. Nothing since. The ammo was SUPER LONG loaded 9mm that’s particularly spicy. I bet this stuff would choke a CZ that’s not reamed. Never seen factory ammo loaded so long. But for any gun I’d call that a reliable gun. 600 rounds in the first trip in an hour. 4-500 ish the second time shooting it today also in an hour. Just gonna keep dumping brakefree clp on it. MIGHT clean it before the major match cause it’s not fun having jams on the clock and when you introduce dusty mags into the mix it’s sub optimal. And I will likely hit the 2000 round mark before that match.

Yesterday was a big day for us. It was our book launch event at @titlewavesMUM . This is a big format book store in Bandra that hosts a lot of book launches, I hear. They had the place ready, well before the event. There was a big digital wall behind the stage, which was giving the stage a sophisticated air. They had also made a nice mockup of the book for the “unveiling event”. The book store has a great selection of titles and will be a delight for the book enthusiast and connoisseurs! Coffee smell wafted enchantingly from the Brakefree Cafe tucked away in a corner. Sumedha runs this nice, small place where they serve coffee, tea and snacks. They had printed the menu with the book photo, the mugs had the book photos too and on the tables there were small cutout of the book front! Quite nifty, I thought! Invitees started coming in and we had a great time meeting people, many after a long interlude. We chatted up, took photos, had coffee and let our hair down, in a manner of speaking! The guests of honour @Aashish and @AMajitmenon too came in well ahead of time. So had @kayezad , who was to moderate a panel discussion. We got on to the stage and settled down. Pankaj, my colleague was the Emcee, who introduced us and set the ball rolling. We unveiled the book, had a photo shoot and got on with the panel discussion. I did not know at that time that the panel discussion would be the highlight of proceedings! It went off wonderfully well, with many commenting on the expert moderation of @kayezad and the keen insights and wonderful takeaways on finance and life by both @AashishPS and @AMajitmenon . After the smashing hit that the panel discussion was, we had a book signing session. Boy, I did not expect to sign so many books! Felt like a celebrity! After this there was a further round of mixing around with the assembled guests, photos with them, more laughter and bonhomie! The event was winding down now. The book launch was glorious, a first time for me, and memorable.  The choice of venue was wonderful, the arrangements impeccable and the ambience contemporary, with muted elegance. Divya Shah from @WestlandBooks had been in charge of the book launch. Thanks a lot Divya for ensuring such an amazing book launch! Many asked me about my upcoming books now. I had put that off for some time now. After this book launch, who knows, I may write another one to relive the experience!
