ضمن فعاليات ملتقى خبز ونت Bread and Net الذي تنظمه منظمة سمكس للحقوق الرقمية في بيروت، عُقدت جلسة نقاشية بعنوان "كيف يحمي قانون الإعلام واقع الحريات والتحديات التي تواجه الصحافيين والصحافيات؟" بالتعاون مع اتحاد الصحافيين والصحافيات في لبنان وتحالف حرية الرأي والتعبير. تطرق النقاش إلى الانتهاكات التي يتعرض لها الصحافيون والصحافيات، خصوصاً في حالات التوقيف أو الاستدعاءات خارج إطار الجهات القضائية المختصة، كما حدث مع الصحافي مهدي كريم. وأكد المشاركون أهمية المادة 47 من قانون أصول المحاكمات الجزائية في حماية حقوق الصحافيين أثناء التحقيقات، والتي تضمن حق الاستعانة بمحامٍ وعدم التعرض لأي ضغط أو انتهاك داخل التحقيقات. تضمنت الجلسة مداخلات من النائبين حليمة قعقور وياسين ياسين، المحامي فاروق المغربي، رينا وهبي، مسؤولة الحملات في منظمة العفو الدولية، والصحافيين صفاء عياد ومهدي كريم، وعرضت أبرز مستجدات مشروع قانون الإعلام الجديد والمخاوف من فقدان التعديلات الإصلاحية التي تهدف لحماية الحريات. ناقش المتحدثون غياب المساءلة القانونية، مما يزيد من تعرض الصحافيين للاعتداءات ويضع حرية التعبير في لبنان أمام تهديد متواصل. كما ركز النقاش على مسألة شفافية تمويل وسائل الإعلام، حيث طالب المشاركون وزارة الإعلام بإلزام المؤسسات الكبرى بالإفصاح عن مصادر دخلها، حمايةً للاستقلالية الإعلامية ومنعاً لتداخل المصالح الخارجية أو استغلال المنصات في خدمة أجندات خاصة. @halime_el @ujlebcom @breadandnet
